Riassunto analitico
In this Project work I have analyzed the case of a patient submitted to valve in valve percutaneous aortic valve implantation. This procedure is, in some cases, complicated by the occurrence of acute coronary artery occlusion and to date there are several strategies and procedural techniques to prevent this complication that can occur either immediately after implantation or in the following days. The technique here presented offers a strategy that create a tunnel between the aorta and left coronary artery that is more physiological with respect to the most known and diffused Chimney technique, that create a comunication between aorta and coronary arteries with the formation of a right angle in the stent implanted with a less physiological curve and consequent alterations in flow that might predispose to intrastent thrombosis. With the tunnel technique, here reported, even when this communication between coronary arteries and aorta are not completely straight stent curves are sweeter possibly reducing the incidence of stent thrombosis in these patients.
