Abstract
Encephaloceles are herniations of part of the brain through bone defects in the skull. They can be asymptomatic or cause various clinical complications, including pharmacoresistant epilepsy. The present study will discuss the clinical, electrophysiological, radiological, and histopathological features of a cohort of 14 patients with pharmacoresistant epilepsy and a diagnosis of encephalocele.
