Riassunto analitico
This dissertation aims to establish legal boundaries for enhancing the use of assistive robots that are in compliance with existing laws and foster the fundamental rights of individuals, as opposed to restricting the illegitimate use of robotic technologies that are potentially high-risk and could violate the fundamental rights of users and generate substantial harm to the individuals and society at large. The thesis aims to extract the general principles for protecting different users interacting with assistive robotic applications by referring to the international conventions and EU constitutional frameworks.
