Riassunto analitico
Four experiments with mindfulness-oriented meditation (MOM) and a review of literature about meditation and the non-conscious investigate MOM by means of subjective self-reports and objective measures.
The experiments concern the effects of a MOM training in two therapeutic interventions (with groups of persons with Alcohol Dependence and Multiple Sclerosis), the difference in the outcomes of a MOM trainings delivered in group vs. in solo setting, and the simultaneous measurement of EEG activity in couples of subjects with the hyperscanning technique, during concurrent performance of MOM, while subjects were together inside the same room or separated in different rooms.
