Riassunto analitico
National Coordination Spaces
The recent economic crisis has oriented the European negotiations toward an increasing of the member states (MS) centrality within the European policy making, by attempting to influence directly the decision making process and thus protecting their national interests. This article would like to analyze the presence of a national way of lobbying based on the creation of system of coordination among those actors operating in Brussels who share the same nationality. NCS may be an integrative avenue in order to influence the negotiations at the European level, thanks both to cultural and to linguistic aspects. These relational strategies are informal, thus making the presence of NCS more difficult to be observed.
