Riassunto analitico
The purpose of the present work is to provide an overview on the fluid-dynamics and patterns that occurs in geothermal two-phase flows, using as case study the pipeline before entering the separator of the geothermal plant of Cerro Pabellón, Chile.

First, a literature review has been made. That has illustrated the main variables that determine the types of flow regimes that occur in horizontal flows, e.g. in the pipes taken as reference in this study. So, the flow regime of Cerro Pabellón's pipeline has been determined taking as input variables the average liquid and steam velocity.

Secondly, the pressure drop has been estimated with the use of a correction for multi-phase geothermal flows.

Finally, an estimation of the droplet size of the liquid phase is presented, using literature correlations as well as inputs the flow's thermodynamic variables.
